    Mininum aperture: f/22

What I would have done for a 2 stop ND filter this week.

    Arrrrrrgh.

Anyway, sounds like they ARE NOT getting a FF equivalent for this lens this week/month. According to Canon UK, they've announced all of their PMA stuff: So a replacement L lens that isn't that old, a new sports top line SLR, and new "kits" for the 30D and 5D, so that kind of explains the rebates.

They plan on not selling as many of the "body only" any more. Sounds like some one at marketing went to Costco. Where you can get a nice new Nikon with two lenses....

there really dont seem to be many EF lenses that go past f/22. BUT... the tradeoff is at tiny apertures like that, EVERY piece of dust on your sensor becomes razor sharp in the photo. not to mention you start to lose sharpness once you get away from the sweet spot range.

I thought the Ls went past it. At least to 32.
