Spring is here and I was itching to get out with my camera (despite being sick). I had to drop some books off at the library so I packed up my camera and took a walk through the park (I guess thats what you would call it) its just a BIG grassy area with a walking path and a creek thats good during rainfall between the library and the community center. This one, I was walking along and saw this stone with a memorial engraved in it sitting next a bench and someone had left a flower. I had no idea who the guy was but I thought the flower was pretty This one I call "Survivor" Then I drove down the street and went to the playground/park behind my old elementary school. Obviously the fountain is not on yet but I liked the shadows And now for the inspiration for the name of this post! And a few more Proof that ducks can't read or don't follow rules Duck Duck Goose!
Thanks Tim! Im working hard on not cutting off heads/hands/tails etc. I wish Id come down a little lower on that flower shot and gotten more of the flower and less of the sidewalk. Looking at these pics I was thinking the park/playground would be a GREAT place for wedding/engagement pics. Lots of benches and bridges. There's also a HUGE stone that could easily fit two people. And of course the playground equipment!
Very pretty park areas and nicely shot and composed. You've got nice shadowplay and light in these, that show a nice touch.
very nice. I like the bridge and memorial shot a lot. I like the sidewalk in the flower shot, it adds texture
I think the ducks might have a good lawyer on retainer. ; Technically speaking they are not swimming, they are wading. ; Amazing that law is such a grey area. ; Also, I think that the drawing on the "No Swimming" looks like it should say "No Drowning" instead.
