from yesterday. very overcast day except for maybe 20 minutes of sun
only time I ever saw a northern flickr so had to take the pic
the BC night heron is in the midst of changing from a juvy to an adult
the great blue heron is not quite mature yet

 

and 2 shots of an immature black crowned night heron from today
