A year in the making! Four Seasons of Taughannock Falls by Scottwdw I have posted a few photos of Taughannock Falls this year to create this collage of HDR images for my blog's assignment this month. ; Click the photo to learn more.
Scott, it is so nice to see the whole product! ; You have been posting your shots of this for well, about a year and the finished result is awesome! ; Well done!
Thanks, John! ; Hope you'll read the blog post, too. ; Does anyone know where I can get posters made of this? ; Smugmug's prints for a good size are just too expensive. ;
Have you tried Mpix? ; I've used them before for large prints, though I don't know if they're too expensive compared to Smugmug. ; Lovely shots and a beautiful place - really neat to see a full year project like that! ; It was running awfully shallow in summer - was that the usual flow or was this a drought year?
Justin, We had a hot and dry summer. ; Though the flow does diminish in the summer, this was very low. ; A couple of weeks after I took the Summer photos, the area got hit by Hurricane Irene which caused the fall photo to have more flow than usual. ; It all evened out.
Scott these are beautiful! ; Nicely done. ; I wonder if there is anything down here that I can put something similar together. ;
Being in Florida, it might be easy to see the seasons change by how people decorate their homes or how about Main Street USA? Epcot as it marks the seasons with two festivals and the holidays. ; Summer should be easy. Thinking out of the Disney box. ; Either coast or a nearby wild area might show seasonal changes by the wildlife and/or people there. ; A park would work too. ; People change during the year.
Yeah, I guess I just never thought about it like that. ; Hmm, I have a little time to decide, but I am thinking I want to make something like this for next year.
