Very neat...when did they do this?

  2. last night. After Illuminations after the park closes, they project how to say Goodnight in different languages on SSE.

  6. Funny. Thast after I deleted all the junk. My dad keeps laughing at me because I keep stopping to take pictures and then having to RUN go catch up with the fam. Saturday I stayed at EPCOT all day day and then went straight to MK at night. Even today at AKL when the parents were using the bathroom I was walking around taking pictures. I think I have a problem. Unfortunately right now I was supposed to be with Tim and pals at the 101 meet but the weather screwed that up! :(

Im having trouble getting the sky to expose right (those bright blue days are fine its those sorta blue days Im having trouble with). I guess I can ask him Saturday.

That's ok, you could always edit a good one over a notsogood one ;)

I am sending down some extra prayers and pixie dust for clear sunny skies for the rest of your visit

It's hard not to blow out the sky when it's a cloudy day. It's best to try and keep as much of the sky out of your frame as possible on days like that. Cloudy days are great in that they give us very soft, even lighting on everything on the ground but it's one big and bright light diffuser. Very hard to put that in the same frame as a building which is a few stops dimmer. I try to zoom in either by lens or by foot to minimize the sky as much as possible.

Using software, you can crop out, alter or replace the sky. Ask Tim, he's a master at it. :)

Or go into A2, reduce the highlights slider with recovery at the max. Recovers a decent amount. I'm going through some old D30 files and I'm actually surprised by what A2 is able to get out of the highlights.

If A2 is an option, Roger is very correct. Though I've never tried sliding recovery all the way and then using the highlight slider. Will have to try that one.
