In Epcot, to celebrate the New Year, they shoot off fireworks from every country, in order of when they previous rang in the New Year. Here are some pics: (all taken with my S1IS) (BTW: Just try to get a tripod in there in a good location on NYE. Also, strollers make a good barrier for staked out areas) The Dragon over the dance floor in China Japan Norway Morocco (yes it is lit up) Happy New Year 2007! The rest are at http://www.themeparkphotos.us/html/new_ ... _2006.html (since I've got nothing better to do with our ICE STORM 2007- Quoth the NWS: "THIS WINTER STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE VERY DANGEROUS...EVEN DEADLY...SO BE SAFE AND DELAY TRAVEL PLANS. DO NOT TAKE THIS STORM LIGHTLY.")
i bet that was awesome. i would have loved to have been there. i will never be in the magic kingdom for new year's eve, guarantee you that. took me 90 minutes to get from the train station to casey's corner in 2004-05. it was ludicrious. only time at disney i actually thought, "this (stinks)".
