54 years today NEXT MONTH.... :-[

And TDA practically announced that 14 years after it glowed out forever, the refreshed Electrical Parade will be returning to its rightful place on Disneyland's Main Street. ; Mostly because next summer Walt Disney's California Adventure (hint hint, while the name change hasn't made official) doesn't want to have a parade competing with the Light Magic AP[nb]Light Magic tried to replace MSEP, but Emperor Pressler made the APs pay for a dress rehearsal, leading to a massive refund request[/nb] crowds awaiting World of Color shows.

Anyway, DL closed their gates early yesterday as they were at capacity, and I expect it to be the same today.

The big question for me: ; Is the music returning too? ; I love the electrical parade theme, and miss it!

Music never left on the "Disney's Electrical Parade" version, except the slight name change. ; No "The Main Street Electrical Parade!", it's now "Dis-ney's Electrical Parade!"

Didn't realize you still had the original music! ; I haven't heard it in a while, but I can still play it in my head.

If you want to hear the original tune (before Disney adapted it for the parade), just search for Baroque Hoedown by Perrey and Kingsley. ; That tune and the Spectromagic music are my favorite earworms.
