'High School Musical 4' movie in the works

Following the release of the box-office smash hit "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" last October, Disney has announced plans for the fourth installment of the wildly popular "High School Musical" movies.

The music- and dance-filled movie will debut on the Disney Channel in 2010, but ET has learned that "HSM 4" will introduce a new cast of characters.

The plot of the new movie, which starts production later this year, follows a love story and the cross-town rivalry between the East High Wildcats and the West High Knights.

 

If they're using the 3 junior characters from HSM3, then I think there won't be much pull ... none of those were "dreamy" like Zac Efron was for tweenies. ;

 

I didn't mind the first three but I think they are done.
