From 1999: The statue is in the sculpture garden which is part of the Hirshhorn Museum in DC. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/121307/A/dcmfe50rvp7.JPG" />
I can't help but think that it looks like the statue has a red spike emerging from its head. That.. and that I regret never going into the Hirshorn in the two times I was in DC somewhat recently. I'm not really an artsy kind of person (aside from photography), but still I should have gone in to see what they have on display.
Here's one of the sculptures in the garden. <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/121307/A/dcmfe50rvp6.JPG" />
Strange...I'm not really sure what I like about it, but I'm strangely drawn to it. Do you know the story behind it?
Fortunately it's by one of their major sculptors for the garden, so I was able to find it via their collection search. Here's the info page: http://hirshhorn.si.edu/collection/reco ... =&Record=6
