Hi, I'm working towards being able to post some photos here. Does anyone have any suggestions as to an easy to use photo hosting site? I currently have a shutterfly account, but I want to make sure that it will work with TMIP. I'm really trying to avoid using this site to individually host each picture. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance, Mike
a lot of us here us flickr. ; easy to hotlink from there and they have free accounts if you don't want to pay. ; there are MANY other alternatives
One of the many alternatives...as Tim mentioned there are tons of them...is PBase. ; I've had them for years, and always preferred their gallery look and layout, easy uploads via zipping masses of photos, and easy linking for posts. ; I've never been much of a Flickr fan as I don't like the layout and look, but many do use it. ; Check out the afformentioned Photobucket, and also Zenfolio...just to throw in some other alternatives. ; And if you happen to be on the 'dpreview' photo forums, they have basic free galleries for all users there, with some download limits (200MB/1000 photos a month), which should be plenty generous for a free gallery...I actually keep some photos in there that I might not otherwise load to my more 'professional' PBase galleries...mainly because it's free...those can be linked too.
