Sadly, after I let the lady named Ryan tell me all about it... and it did SOUND great... all I had to do was pay $200+ per person. ; She was not overly surprised when I said I wasn't paying anything for a trip that I win!!!! I let her go on for a long time, on the off chance it could be the genuince article. ; I do enter the occasional draw. SIGH...... ; once again, if it sounds too good to be true... ; it is, darn it!!!! ; ; :
We seem to win about 1 cruise per week......I thought we were the only ones. There's way too many scams out there, its true, ; if it seems to good to be true. ; It probably isn't. ; I'm a big believer in you get what you pay for.
I got a package in the mail from Disney today - not routed to my company HQ, I couldn't figure out what it was, then thought of the sweepstakes - for the minute before I had the envelope opened, I dreamt a little dream. ; It was nice. ; Then I opened it and saw a terrific brochure for Disney honeymoons - oh well... maybe someone here will win the sweepstakes!
And yet another reason I am signed up with https://www.donotcall.gov/ Works like a charm! ; I haven't won any trips anywhere since DH signed us up. ; ;D
Obviously you haven't heard the "good" news about our wonderful "do not call" system! Apparently US companies can purchase from our wonderful goverment the complete list of "do not call" numbers for $50.00! ; And since they are based in the US are not covered by this law and can call all they want! ; So be expecting to win that trip very soon!
Heard the government is selling the list and scam artists from off shore are using it to run scams. Sorry didn't see the one above. The other one these days is car warrenty scam over the phone. They call and say it is coming due and would you like to renew or purchase more, just give me your CC no. and we'll suck a couple of hundred out of you.
