Did I miss something? <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/022008/226E4782.JPG" /> Hey, what's going on here? Who's the monkey?
#2 REALLY looks like a comedian glancing sardonically towards the audience and away from the character he'd been dealing with. I just watched a few episodes of the Jack Benny Show (yeah, I've been on an old time radio kick for a while now and decided to see what Jack's TV show looked like) and I saw a very similar look used frequently. The thing that makes it work for me is that the head is turned, but his body isn't. It really looks like an aside, rather than fully directing his attention to the camera.
