Third straight day going to the dam...it's very therapeutic. ; This time I went down to the water line and staked out. ; (Ignoring the Peligro signs on the dam) I need a Gimbal type mount. ; I do. [attachimg=1] Same bird a few mins. earlier was just hanging out on the rock. ; The Great Blue Heron wasn't there today. Thanks Jeff! Yeah, I was trying to figure it out at whatbird.com; first pics looked black but it's definitely blue....
Went back today; had to skip yesterday due to H1N1@Home. (probably, thank goodness it's hitting before RSV season) Have to wait until I get home to see the results, but not as much activity today...probably because of the impending storm. ; But there were five neotropic cormorants hanging around waiting for fish to go through the dam.
