This summer, I have a small class so Im able to do some new and interesting things. Because of the short week I made this computer week. ; I taught them about the keyboard, the names of the different parts of the computer, how to make art on the computer, oh yeah and they are now experts on the word Google. ; Today I was brave enough to turn over a couple of digital cameras to my kids. We had a LOOONG discussion about holding it with two hands and always wearing the wrist strap. As you can imagine, most of the pictures were of the floor or blurry but a few good ones and most importantly they had a blast! ; Check out this pic I took of some of the kids in full photography mode. ; I caught one of them TOTALLY chimpin! ; Way to train em early, huh?
Oh and I have to mention that this picture was taken with my brand new classroom camera - a Canon A2200! Usually we get the Kodak EasyShares! ; This camera is 14 MP AND it has so many fun functions like fish eye (I plan on putting that to good use taking pictures of the kids LOL) and miniature (reminds me of that MK video done in Tilt/Shift). I was in shock when my boss handed me the box! And more exciting than anything! I dont have to deal with rechargable AAs anymore!
