    I thought I would have posted this one, but I'll just go ahead and do it.

    Cropped from my S1IS. Wished I had a telephoto lens ready at the time and/or my macro. From last late summer.

    I know - but it's a common spiny backed orb weaver. I thought it was exotic a few days before I got this shot when it was making the web and I got pics of it then. But it's not.
