Macro work on some spiders around the playground

    On Sunday I decided to bring the machinegun and my macro lens with me to the playground while my daughter played.

    This spider is actually as big as the head of a pin.

    And this one was just scurrying across the sidewalk.

    ooooooooooh. A rather large orb weaver decided to make a web last night, in our front yard right off the path to the front door, just in time for the Feast of Samhain.

    It was there this morning, so I can't wait to get home. Then again I can't wait for Saturday as well.

    Those pictures are great. I have a tough enough time with static subjects.
