I am sure we've all seen the mickey ears on the viking in maelstrom. Until recently when I got a zoom on the viking did i also realize the attention to detail in the hidden mickey.
Holy cow! We all certainly haven't seen that, I sure haven't.. that's hilarious, a viking wearing "these little beauties" (Soarin' reference).
Yes, it is Leif as in Leif Ericson, the norwegian explorer who discovered Greenland, Iceland, and the North American continent.
You are hilarious, he's looking busted nowadays. ;D Ok yes, I know who Leif Ericson is, but I've never seen it spelled Lief, why would his name be spelled that way?
It looks like that perhaps Lief was the original correct spelling. But considering that it's hard to decipher portions of Beowulf, written at about the same time roughly that Lief was exploring the frigid North Atlantic waters some 900 years before Leo D. would go to his watery grave - I would have to give kudos to the Imagineer who painted it.
There also appears to be one on the cruise director's shirt (to the left of the top of the clip board). However, if you zoom in with a camera it is only a crease in the shirt. Looks cool from a distance though.
I'm seeing the same thing. And when I click on the link at the bottom of the post it gives me a 404 error.
