Main St. Panorama

  1. Canon G7, post processed with Canon's stitch utility. ; Burned, straightened, sharpened in Aperture 3.

    The late day sun blew out the lighter paint on Main St. ; I do like how those imperfections can draw more attention to the Castle (until the flagpole ruins that great shot from the train station terrace).

    Attempts like this make you start shopping for better glass! ;)

    Nice straight vertical lines, no obvious seams in the stitch. ; Did you shoot it in landscape or portrait? ; You should ALWAYS shoot pano's in portrait; it will require a few more frames, but it will be a much taller finished product.

    Nice job with this one, especially with an older camera. ;

    Definitely a nice stitch and nice work. ; And very good compositionally in dealing with the flagpole to at least move it over to the right so it doesn't run right through the castle!
