Here are three I took during MVMCP.
    These are handheld.
This time I shot manual mode at 1/10 sec, iso8oo, f3.5.
I chose 1/10 because that is about the slowest shutter speed I can use without really trying hard!
I chose 800 because my fireworks are always blown out at 1600.
and I chose 3.5 because I needed some light for the castle.

    #3 is definitely my favorite!

I would agree about #3, but I really like the castle in #2. Good shots Craig!

I agree with the above post one is great but in two the colors are fantastic.

i'm going to have to respectfully break rank here and come out for #1, but it's a personal preference i have, i want my fireworks just a little stronger than the castle, i feel 1 does that, when i first looked at it my eyes were drawn first to the star burst then the castle, the other 2 felt like there were two different things competing for my attention at the same time, just my personal tastes showing up though
and i have come back a couple of times to check my reaction and i still found myself easily distracted in the second two, in the first i find myself looking at the burst then following down the castle, maybe it's just the way my eyes work?

I think #3 is the best, but the colors are great in #2

The first one is my favorite. I really like the red glow on the castle with the red fireworks overhead!

How cool! At first, I thought you had caught a flying tink or two...the fireworks look bird or fairylike.
