    Hi all, I'm looking for a new backpack.

    Here's my criteria:

    1. ; This won't be for daily use -- only for hauling the stuff I can't put in my check through luggage. ; When I get to wherever I'm going, I will usually just keep the camera on the BlackRapid strap and maybe throw another lens and/or flash in my small daypack.

    2. ; I want to be able to carry the following (I had been using a separate laptop bag and photo backpack when traveling, and have decided I only want one carry-on): ; Canon Rebel XT with battery grip, nifty fifty, 10-22w/hood, 24-70 2.8Lw/hood, 70-200 4.0Lw/hood, speedlight, 15" MacBookPro.

    3. ; I would like to buy it from Amazon -- I've got some gift certificates to use up.

    Any user feedback is appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Boris

    Tamrac has a few, I liked my former Cyberpack 8, they also have an Expedition series.

    Lowepro: ; Computrekker (probably the Plus one) or one of their new Vertex ones would probably meet your needs.

    If you go to their websites you can see an internal drawing of the compartments to help you visualize how the system will meet your needs. ; However, remember that on the larger ones, some of your lenses can go in vertically, not horizontally.

    I have a Samsonite Pro-DLX large laptop backpack that I use for exactly that purpose. It doesn't have any bottom or side padding, but the back padding is great and it is very comfortable to wear even when loaded full. In the back I put my 15" MBP, and in the front is just enough room for my D90, 17-55mm, 70-200mm, and flash. It's a tight fit, but even when fully loaded, it'll fit under the seat on the airplane.

    I need to carry pretty similar gear (40D, 580 EXII, 11-16, 17-55, 50-135, 70-300 DO, tripod, and 15 inch MBP), but I am looking for a wheeled bag to use to get to my destination. ; My backpack is getting heavy especially when I travel with my family and need to tote some of their carry on items. ; Anyone have anything they would recommend.

    I have the compu trekker and like it. You may also want to take a look at the Pelican 1510-004-110 case. ;
