I really like this one. Classy with a touch of history. [This attachment has been purged. Older attachments are purged from time to time to conserve disk space. Please feel free to repost your image.]
I'm still having trouble accepting the new name, but the logo looks good. I can see the classic appeal, and in an attempt to find something positive to say I see the new name matching up with the style of the characters you find on.. er.. their equivalent of Main Street. I should know the name of that street, I know, but despite my love of trivia I tend to gloss over such details. They're clearly going for a classic Hollywood feel, and the name matches up with that handily. Except for the areas with specific theming, like the Indiana Jones area, or Star Wars, the whole place is to the golden age of Hollywood what Main Street USA is to classic USA. Both are a romanticized, sanitized, view of the past. Perhaps realizing that will help me accept the new name. It's already all about Hollywood. Now it's about that in name as well as in theming. I edited this post to remove an overly negative tone I used that the new name REALLY didn't deserve, even if I still don't care for it.
I like it suprised they didn't make the two 2 O's in Hollywood and the one in studios a hidden Mickey though
