I am looking for expert advice on booking a trip. My daughter and her best friend and I want to go in mid OCtober (between both of their 22nd birthdays) and we are wondering when the best price deal would be. do we wait until closer to the travel dates ; or do we pick the exact week and book now?

We are looking to go for a week to DL resort. We would love to be able to stay at Paradise Pier or the DL hotel if any really good deals can be had.

    your thoughts....

If there are specials ... and DLR usually runs ticket specials rather than room specials ... they'll probably be released in the late spring for the Fall. There's nothing against booking a room now, and waiting for the discounts.

Value season at DLR is the last 3 weeks of October so that's definitely a good time to go.

    Here are the current specials:

HOWEVER, there are many non-Disney hotels located in walking distance to DLR -- often closer than the DLR hotels. You may want to give those some research. One "motel" that got a lot of good reviews when I was doing my research way back when, was the Candy Cane Inn. It has queen beds, free breakfast, and shuttles to the park:

Just keep in mind that the PP and DLH are a good walk to the parks ... albeit through Downtown Disney. ; :)
