Wow! The Mansion really looks good. I can't wait until I can get back down there to try to take pictures of it. My photos in April were less than acceptable...
WOW! amazing phot's Tim. Thanks for the peek inside the new mansion. I was wondering though, were you able to get any shots of the gargoyles in the stretching room? I hear that they are really amazing now also.
it's making me really look forward to Feb now. New SE, new HM (could I actually prefer the east coast over the left coast????), ISO 6400.... Tim are any of these cropped? Which lens? (trying to decide if I should rent a lens for Feb or not)
i used a combo of 28, 50, & 85 primes. there is a bit of cropping for compositional assistance because i was shooting so fast and furious.
nice gallery Tim. At the end of the gallery, it looks like you got to ride HM more in a couple of days than some people their whole lives!
I rode the refurbished Haunted Mansion 3 times after it's re-opening and each time I started at those darn Gargoyles and didn't see anything remotely close to what they were describing on the internet. They just sat there nothing special. Maybe I missed something subtle
I hadn't heard anything about the gargoyles ofer than there are more of them and they more closely resemble their Disneyland ancestors.
I can't wait to get the 5D down there for the Haunted Mansion ... I'm chomping at the bit to try my 5D out there.
WOW! These pictures are fantastic, Tim! The new lighting is sooooo much better! Can't wait to see it with my own eyes.
Awesome pics! That's the first decent view of the new bride I've seen so far. I can't wait to see it in person!
constance, as she is now officially known, is definitely something to see. the new additions are A+ in my opinion and LONG overdue.
I'm dreading the thought of hauling my 5D down there in late June next year ... so heavy and sooooo hot. But there's just no other way to shoot this stuff. Max Iso, fast shutter and my trusty 50 f/1.4, baby. My Moby Dick is going to be to finally get good pics of the HM - my favorite ride. I'm expecting I'll get a lot better results with this combo over my old Pentax P&S : )
