So on Sunday I set out with my brother in law and his father to try and see 11 lighthouses and 5 rescue stations in southern NJ. ; After driving a total of 406 miles and being in the car for almost 14 hours (with stops to get out and walk around the grounds at each as well as a stop for lunch, we made it to only 11 of the 16 stops. ; We stopped at 8 of the 11 lighthouses. ; It was a good time and having Sirius radio in the car we listened to comedy most of the driving time. ; Here are some of the shots I got. This is East Point Lighthouse, very old and run down on the inside. ; They are going to start a major renovation in the spring that has been in the planning for 10 years.
