The menu in the 150-seat, family-oriented restaurant reflects the art of African cooking with Indian flavors. Pronounced "Sah-NAH," the restaurant boasts interiors inspired by African art and remarkable views to a savannah of free-roaming animals. I'm looking very forward to it. ; I'm hoping it'll be open in June when I go - as I definitely intend to have a look around Kidani village. For Pixelmania, I couldn't get a studio at Boardwalk, my home resort, as they were long since sold out of some of the days I needed. ; So it's likely I'll have to hunt around starting May 3 to check availability at other DVC resorts for those days. ; AK may be where I end up (I'll stay anywhere, but I usually look for a cheaper option like OKW, Boardwalk Std view, or Saratoga. ; AK is quite reasonable for the value and Std rooms).
Oooooh. ; Now this is a restaurant concept I can enthusiastically support! http://allears.net/menu/menu_sanaad.htm There's a menu for them for dinner. It seems a little odd. ; It sounds a bit familiar in terms of their appetizers, and ahh yes, there's a somosa offering.. ; but you get into the dinners and you start seeing Thai flavors. ; I tend to think of both red and green curry as identifiably Thai in origin. ; Not that that's a bad thing, I'm very positive on both of those items. I'm wondering if they could have Africanized traditionally Thai curries? I know Indian cuisine is perhaps most identified with curry, but their curries are very different. I definitely approve, though. ; I had hoped that Yak and Yeti would offer up at least a sampling of Indian items, instead it ended up having mostly Chinese standards.
