Hi again! Just posted some shots over in the MK thread (http://www.themagicinpixels.com/forum/i ... 781.0.html) and as promised here's a few shots from Epcot that I'd love some opinions on. What can I do better (remembering that these were all without a tripod)?
#1: Yay, no wand! #2: Wow. That's pretty good even for dark ride standards. Really. #3: Is this one cropped? #4: Love the colors on SE at night!
Thanks on #2. I was honestly shocked when it came out as good as it did. I must admit our ride had slowed significantly down to allow a handicapped passenger to board (at least that's what I assume) so I had a little help in that regard but after 2 failed attempts at a clear image, that little baby popped onto my view screen. #3 - Nope not cropped. I was standing in an odd location and had the camera resting on the small iron fencing looking toward the America pavillion. I had it zoomed in quite a bit because the light from the torch that was directly to my right was making the focus go all screwy.
Yes, the little bit of light from that torch is kind of odd, it makes my brain work on the physics of where the heck that light is coming from because it's very directional and unfortunately obvious in the shot.
