How you getting those awesome pics from the wrestling ring? ; Those are great as are the rest. ; He-Man...ah, when toy commercials (half hour cartoons) were actually good. ; Transformers was, too.

I was wondering the same thing. ; Not only are the angles great but so are the exposures. ; If you aren't getting paid for those, you should be soliciting whoever does the PR for that wrestling league to see if you can get some press creds and take pics for them.

Those are some action shots to bow down to. ; I've been to a couple professional wrestling events back when it was still the WWF, Hulk Hogan was still wrestling, The Rock was a relative newcomer and still a "heel", and Rick Flair was still all the rage in North Carolina (where I lived at the time).....and the lighting sucked and I assume it still does.

Even bodybuilding competitions which have very, very, very harsh light on stage (so bright that is the reason they wear some much stain so that you don't get washed out) and it's still hard to get good shots because the lights wash out the subject and you must spot on with your exposure compensation and metering.

I assume the stage lights are the same for wrestling except in that case, the subject(s) are moving at a fast pace and in no predictable fashion

cheers for the comments guys, the wrestling shots were from about 5 rows back with my Fuji Finepix S8000, I couldn't have got my big kit in. i just alternated between the sports mode and the manual mode.

I did machine gun it at times to try and get action shots but the camera as great as it is can go quite soft at full zoom
