I've been using the Noise Ninja plug-in for Aperture 2 for a few months now. ; It saved my hockey photos because of the way I had to shoot with my older Nikon D70 camera. ; I've used it for a few of the POTC photos, also. ; Now, with a rainy holiday weekend upon me, I took out some more WDW high ISO photos to see what NN can do. I was impressed with this one. ; The shot was hand-held as I had not found my spot on the Main Street Railroad platform yet for my tripod. ; Badly underexposed and noisy. ; Here's the before: Now, after applying some Noise Ninja processing followed by A2 adjustments, here's the after: Nikon D70/18-200VR, 1/50s, f/5.6, ISO 1600, -0.6 EV, 130mm focal length The biggest problem with most A2 plug-ins is the huge TIFF files they create. ; The original file is 6.19MB, the TIFF file created by Noise Ninja is 17.29MB. ; Really eats up hard drive space on a laptop. ; Thankfully, external hard drives are relatively cheap now a days.
