Thanks Gary. John, the carriage shot was at 1/50 while panning and countinuous focus. I did lower clarity on the background just to make the carriage stand out more. The blur did come from panning.

Lafitte's Bar lies on Bourbon St. in the French Quarter. It is reputed to be the oldest bar in the US, built around 1722. What better place for it to be than on Bourbon. Lafitte's Bar by Harry Shields, on Flickr
