Thinking of getting a Sigma 10-20mm F4-5.6 for my Nikon D70- any feedback on this lens or similar would be greatly appreciated. If you use this lens I would love to see some examples! Thanks.
its slow. other than that I don't know much about it. you can check out photographyreview.com (but reviews are generally positive of everything) still, its really slow but there isn't anything else in its category. sigma has another zoom, a 12-24. still, at this point i go for speed. so i'm more of a prime guy. i'd rather pick up a 15mm/2.8 then a slower zoom.
I've had bad luck with this lens. I purchased (exchanged, and finally returned) multiple copies of this lens and I happen to find that certain areas of the shots taken with this lens are softer than others.
