they won't bring the fish into nest until it is dead. it waited on the end of that stick for a good 5 minutes until the fish stopped moving

getting fed. chicks are about 1 month old and start flying at about 2 months so will have to continue fighting the green heads for the shots of first flight

Keep fighting them bug, Howie! ; You are getting some great photos of the Osprey family. ; That first one is neat...almost think the fish will start singing the McD's tune. ; ;D

thanks Scott. ran into my buddy out there with the 600mm f4. I am having major lens envy. the lighting really sucked this morning

The angle of the fish in the first shot was so textbook, I had to take a second look to make sure it wasn't photoshopped. ; Great photos btw.

that is awesome Howie! I've always wanted to get one of these shots!

There is an Osprey nest by one of our bridges, and what I really want is a shot of an Osprey carrying a fish in front of the big yellow "Oversize Load" sign.

thanks Craig. This is my first shot of one bringing back a fish to feed the young ones. Have to go out again when light is better
