A while back Howie started a thread about using the Nik Silver Plug in for Photoshop. http://www.themagicinpixels.com/forum/index.php/topic,3432.0.html

Since I don't use photoshop I thought I would give PSP another try!
I recently have been downloading several software programs and trying them to see which one fits me the best. I always liked the time machine setting of PSP.

Attached are the originals and the new time machine one click setups.
I converted all to B&W using the film converter and choosing a dark blue filter. I then added noise to the photos. Then I used the time machine setting and chose box camera. I bumped up the intensity to 50% on all shots. The two with the pattern border are automatically added with the box camera setting. For the other I unchecked add border and chose my own border.

Cool, Craig. As a PSP mafioso, I like to see it being used that way...but I must confess to being Old School - I use PSP8, and don't have 'Time Machine' function in mine. However, I was happy to learn the Nik Effects plug-ins work perfectly in PSP8...so you can still use those if you want (I have otehr Nik programs loaded as plugins, and loaded the demo of the Silver plugin to play with for a few weeks).
