    These are the best ones I took during the parade at the Pirate and Princess party. Dina and I watched the parade with Roger!
    I used my 50 1.4 at 1.7 and 1/60th. Auto iso chose 1600 everytime except pluto at 1250.
    This is one example where auto iso in manual mode works great. Allowing some autoexposure while letting me control the light and shutter speed during a night parade.

    This is where Nikon and Sony are kicking Canon...hard. I used safety shift a lot during my trip, but it doesn't work in manual mode, and in Av and Tv it will try to adjust the other setting first! So for night shots you almost have to use Tv mode exclusively.

    Great pics Roger. The Barbossa guy however doesn't really look like Barbossa.

    Nice work Roger.

    I think he looks more like Barbossa than the girl looks like Miss Swann

    And doesn't the pirate at the wheel looks like he's reacting to this quote:

    <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/030108/A/226e4286_46.jpg" />

    ICEBERG RIGHT AHEAD!

    That's true the only one who really looks like the character they are supposed to be portraying is the Capt. jack dude. I think he really looks like him tho.

    great shots Roger.

    I love the Barbosa guy. I've always thought he's the best looking character. He's great during the Halloween party, because he walks on the street, always with his apple!

    Nice capture of Elizabeth Swan, I can only ever get her back, she moves around so fast nonstop. She has got to be exhausted at the end of the parade.

    Did you get any photos of the pirates swinging on the rope. I didnt see them do it this time. But in the past they are swinging around. That always made me question if they were castmembers or outside actors

    No to the swinging. I can't remember if the one did swing on the rope or just held on to it for a little while or not. Even if he did, my camera wouldn't AF on it. (the Edsel strikes again).

    But here's another of Ms. Swann:

    <img src="http://www.themeparkphotos.us/cpg140/albums/uploads/030108/A/226e4288_45.jpg" />

    Positioning is everything for this parade! I never got a clean shot of Mickey himself - Mickey was on the other side of the street! Minnie was on our side! Now if it had been last year, there would have been a second parade that night....

    Good shots. If there was a second parade would you watch it from the other side?

    After I missed Mickey the first time, yeah.

    And after I noticed that I got zero shots of Cindyrella because they had extra lights in their "carriage" so in order to properly expose the float, you'll end up blowing their faces out, yes I would try again.

    I really like the lighting in that one Craig.

    Some more undead pirates with that blue lighting

    These REALLY remind me of the ghosts of Henry Hudson's crew, as seen in the Rip Van Winkle episode of Faerie Tale Theatre.
