Just booked BLT for 10/14-10/25 (Saturday before to Wednesday after)… might change resorts once the 7 month window opens and/or airfare opens (if the flight schedule changes). But at least I’m booked somewhere. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hot off the presses as of 1/10/23 Beginning tonight (January 10, 2023), overnight self-parking will once again be offered complimentary to guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Happily Ever After returns to Magic Kingdom on April 3, 2023. Happily Ever After will feature all-new projections down Main Street, U.S.A. “Disney Enchantment” will be offered through April 2, 2023. Beginning in the next few months, (whatever that means), Walt Disney World Annual Passholders will be able to visit the theme parks after 2 pm without needing a park reservation, except on Saturdays and Sundays at Magic Kingdom. ON-RIDE PHOTO DOWNLOADS COMING TO GENIE+ Beginning in the next few months, guests purchasing the Genie+ service will also receive digital downloads of their Disney PhotoPass attraction photos, taken in the park on the day of their purchase, at no additional charge. This is similar to the policy already in place at Disneyland, but only applicable to on-ride photos. And of course Tron will be open by the time we get down there in October. ~Joanie ..
I'll be staying at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Tuscany Village Orlando from TUESDAY October 17th until Friday the 27th. ~Joanie
I'll be running around at Universal after Pixelmania and I think Dennis may be doing the same thing for some of those days as well. We would have to check with him and see what he's thinking regarding his schedule after Pixelmania. ~Joanie
I'm following my traditional October schedule: Universal before Pixelmania and heading home the Tuesday after Pixelmania. Due to plans for Disneyland in December and other plans eariler in the year, most of my vacation days are already reserved.
@ddindy @Joanie Eddis-Koch Do you guys normally stay on site at Universal Studios? How many days do you spend at Universal? We’re doing Universal beginning of May, but thinking if we’re already there in October we could Uber over to Universal.
I plan to stay at Universal in October before moving to Pop, either at Cabana Bay or the new Endless Summer resort. In October 2021, I stayed at Joanie's favorite place, the Hawthorn Suites which is closer to WDW than Universal but Universal is an easy drive up Turkey Lake Road. I always want to spend three days at Universal every year, but it usually ends up being two. In December I was there on three days, but I went to both WDW and Universal on all of them.
I've driven the last two years due to the price of rental cars, but I may fly in October. The drive isn't bad, as long as you avoid Atlanta in the daytime. Take an extra day to give yourself time to make some touristy stops and/or take a longer route.
We're booked for the 16th - 23rd at Kidani! Been a long time since we had a WDW reservation to look forward to...
I rebooked my BLT stay over to Saratoga (for easier access to fishing and the Springs)… will be there the 14th to 25th. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For those of us who like to add a little spice to our October visits, tickets for Universal's Halloween Horror Nights are now on sale.
