Aw, heck, I might as well keep going while I'm at it. http://gallery.mac.com/erichlinder/100322/DSC_16334/large.jpg I don't know what it was about this trip, but I really enjoyed taking photos of fire. Here's some fire and water. http://gallery.mac.com/erichlinder/100322/DSC_16482/large.jpg http://gallery.mac.com/erichlinder/100322/DSC_16483/large.jpg
Great shots Erich, I really like the Mickey that is blurred from the water/heat. Nice ones. ; What lens did you use?
Thanks all. It's a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 G-AFS ED-IF VR. A bear to carry around and hand hold, but definitely worth it. Erich
just think of it as disney dollars, just funny looking paper on the serious side, i financed my 500 f/4 by getting a dba cert from the county, and lease purchase through calumet photo out of nyc. terms were not too bad, probably even better now due to needing to move that high ticket gear in a slow economy
Small business license and a small business purchase through lease terms... if I had to guess. It is how I purchased my gear the past two years.
jason hit it right on the head, i just didn't realize the terminology differs in different areas dba= doing business as, yes, it's a registered small business certificate, costs were $35.00 at the county clerks office, good for 10 years and yes i just had calumet fax me the application, faxed back to them the paperwork along with the business crt, and within 2 weeks had my lens in hand. they may require insurance, but i just had to provide a copy of the separate rider i have through my homeowners
Different terms and costs too... ~ $200 a year for the business license here in Nashville area, I also setup a L.L.C to cover risk, taxes, and insurance purposes. Luckily I have had enough paying jobs to pay off the gear every year.
Didn't go to the semi-official meet (Didn't realize until later that F! was playing later that week, it wasn't supposed to), but here's some of mine:
And time for my favorite part[nb]Sight lines are much better in New Orleans Square. ; And so is the lighting.[/nb]
