Thought with Memorial Day just passed and the 4th of July coming up, I would revive this thread. ; Tim, maybe you could clean up the posts that lost their photos? Memorial Day flags placed on Revolutionary War graves in Oswego, New York.
Scott, I really like that one. ; Tim, there is something about having the flag and a Disney icon in the same frame, love it!
Here is one of my favorite sports photos adjusted using ColorPop on the Droid. ; Was taken shortly after 9-11-2001. brought to you by an (HTC) "Incredible" Guy.
This is actually tomorrow's Picture of the Day on TMIP but I wanted to share it here as well. Where were YOU? Clicking the image will take you to the main article.
I remember exactly where I was. In my captains office when someone from the chiefs office came in and said a plane hit the world trade center. Of course at that point we thought it was an accident untill word came in about the 2nd plane. We were on high alert constantly for a few weeks after that as they were afraid they may hit the casinos
Good time to revive this thread and all things that make us proud and glad to be Americans. ; Recently, a friend of mine posted from Canada, about how devastated they all were too. ; Many Canadians lost people they loved and their country opened its arms to us in our time of need. ; I pray for peace on this earth, as cliche as that sounds. ; And tomorrow...I will pause a little longer to do that.. Peace on Earth by *Roni*, on Flickr
I was in my classroom and remember another teacher (Diane) going from room to room, pulling the teacher in the hall to explain what was happening.
