In memory of Kodachrome, Ektachrome 100VC, and all the other Kodak slide films.... here we go. From 1999, the Matterhorn and Monorail, on Velvia 50:
The b&w on Disneyland brings back memories of watching the Wonderful World of Disney on TV. ; Love Gepetto's village with the Matterhorn in the background, when was the shot taken?
Gone but not forgotten from Anaheim, soon to be reborn as the DCA Red Car Trolley (okay somewhat similar, the Toontown Jolly Trolley went up and down not just transportation)
Thanks Tim. ; I'll always remember that ride. ; While everyone else at DL that morning went straight for Space Mountain, Star Tours, Rocket Rods, BTMRR, Indiana Jones...I went to Storybookland Canal Boats. ; Got the boat to myself, which was really cool to be able to move across during the ride Now this was also during the time when you were limited to 36 shots at one time.
Walt and Roy's apartment balcony, Ektachrome 100VC. Designed to be their apartment in Disneyland, never finished before Walt's death, became an exhibit gallery, now a Dream Suite. ; They used to also do the Fantasmic! dessert functions right off the balcony. ; That too is special...went to park before dawn to sit waiting for Guest Relations to open as it used to be "first come, first serve" for tickets. ; Needless to say I got ticket #1, and you entered the balcony and chose your seats based on what ticket # you were.
Love the colors in that Monorail sign, very cool! ; Keep these shots coming! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
