This must be the same guy Howie has been posting since he just sat there for us and a few guys with baseball bats for lenses said he was around all morning too. [attachimg=1] [attachimg=2]
that be it. it was there this morning too. I must have taken 500 pics of the hawk in a week but my favs were from yesterday with it and the snake and some in flights I got yea there were some big guns there too. one guy had the canon 800mm f5.6 lens. only 12k one I got from this morning. It really tolerates people which is unusual as red tails are normally skittish. yesterday when I went into the bushes to shoot it with the snake I was getting as close as 5 ft away and it wasn't like I was quiet as there were leaves and dead branches on the ground along with thistles that I kept getting tangled in and it didn't flinch. also it is a juvenile which may have something to do with it as the adults never allow people that close. I had the same happen with a young peregrine but the adults would take off
Thanks Roger! ; I was fun to stand there with him just sitting in the tree. ; He was just a little ways down the road from where the right turn is to begin the big loop.
