If I have reservations at Chef Mickeys and also Polynesian, do I need to go back to Disney to get back to my hotel at Coronado? Or is there a bus?
If I remember correctly, you would need to get to the transportation centre, and hop a bus from there - the resorts don't have busses to other resorts - only the parks/DD. But I COULD be wrong
TTA only has buses to Studios, Animal Kingdom and maybe DTD (along with some other non Disney buses). I think you do need to hop on the monorail and catch the bus back to Coronado at the Magic Kingdom.
There are several ways to do this. ; You can go to a park and then go to your resort, or you can go to Downtown Disney and then head to your resort. ; If you are going to have a car, of course you can just drive between your destinations. ; However, there is no bus that goes from resort to resort.
