Road through Zion

    The winding road through Zion National Park has many conveniently located areas to pull off of the road and hike or take pictures.

    For an idea of scale, look in the lower right hand corner at the pair of people walking up the road.

    We lucked out and hit the park on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The next morning we went to the Colorado National Monument and all we got was cloud cover.

    Oh well, at least I was taking pictures and not in the office.

    I love "point & shoot" places like this. ; Just point your camera anywhere, shoot away and you get great shots. :)
