OK. ; I need some advice....

I have pictures scattered across multiple hard drives and in different file structures. ; I wants to scan a drive, then have all picture files found and then copied/moved to a location I designate in a file structure I designate. ; I'm leaning toward Year/Month/Date and if it can go beyond that It would be awesome (for example, broken down by camera)

Anyone know of any software, for Windows, that can do this?

I'm needing to organize my file structure. ; I have plenty of programs, like Picasa, that can give me virtual organization

Sounds more like you'd need to write some sort of script to do something that specific. Which unfortunately I have no idea how to do. Let us know if you do find something, as many of my old photos are also scattered like that.

    Doesn't lightroom do that?

As far as I know, it won't go looking for images, you have to point it to where you want to import from for each import. Yes, then you can have it create DNGs at a central location.
