interesting take on #1. i really like it. spruces up a very mundane scene otherwise.
can't tell you when i last rode the speedway... maybe 22 years ago?

I agree about #1. I just started playing with that in PSP Photo XI.

  4. Thanks-I love Black and white normally, but at Disney-you need the color, right? However, I am not always thrilled with people in my pictures, (some people are kinda grumpy looking, haha) so here, I combined Black and White with the wonderful color of the Speedway cars. They just refurbished it a few months back. Its my husband's (Sean) favorite attraction. We can't leave the Magic Kingdom without riding it. Last time we rode it during "Wishes" and it was very magical...You should try it sometime!

i remember it as more fun in 1989, i think they did not govern the revs as much, you could slam the car in front of you a pretty good shot back then, esp at night when cm's were more lenient with adults about that

I ALWAYS ride the Speedway on every trip.. it's part of honoring my inner child. I've always been fascinated by the idea of driving things, or flying, whatever, I'm a natural born pilot/driver. As a kid I always enjoyed the Speedway because it gave me a chance to drive something when I couldn't yet drive in the real world.

So as an adult I ride it, being a good little driver, never ramming into anything, using the full breadth of control available in the gas pedal to not only accelerate or brake but coast. I refuse to feel self conscious riding what could be considered a kiddy ride, I still enjoy it. I actually find the loose, sloppy steering more of a challenge to handle than normal road cars.

How old is Billy? ;D Your day is coming, Tim!

I, too, like how the selective color pops in #1. Well done!
