That is a great shot Howie! ; I think I remember someone saying they would need to win the lottery to get the 200-400mm lens? ;
here is one on Amazon. I don't know of any lens that cost 25k except for that big canon 1200mm that cost 120k used http://www.pbase.com/robert/image/67748045 nikon made a 1200-1700mm zoom that cost around 78,000 http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/companies/nikon/nikkoresources/zoomsMF/12001700mm.htm there is a carl zeis lens that was 1 million. sigma has a 200-500 f2.8 that is 30k http://www.dickberryphotography.com/blog/the-needed-the-desirable-and-the-stuff-that-you-just-want/. and now there is this monster. no idea what it cost http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IRq18WpQZC0
Holy cow! ; Nothing like a 36 pound lens where you have to be at least 35 feet away to focus properly. ; Although, Guess you could get close-up shots of the dancers on the castle stage while setting up on the train station balcony.
