taken in August 2007 right after the wand came down. This is 1/8 sec at f4.8, iso 1600. I like this shot, but it could have been fantastic with a tripod at iso 100. It was almost too dark even for VR. edit: had the white balance set too cloudy to make sure the colors came out warm and orange. [This attachment has been purged. WOW! AS you are jealous of me, I am jealous of you. It must be nice to get to the parks often. My dad lives in Naples and unfortunately is beyond the park days, however, I love going to visit him because we always make a slight detour and end up at the parks for a bit.
I'm in Fort Myers. I just went to Naples last week. I got lost for over an hour. I didn't used to need a map down here, but they keep adding roads and subdivisions!
Can't wait to see her again like that. Hey, with their new (old) topiary design, could the Lexanâ„¢ logo sculpture be returning as well? ;D
Wow! A whole family of medics? Pair a medics?? (Sorry bad Steve Berry joke) Hmmm a thread on what your best Steve Berry joke is....hmm.
^^ That would be interesting in itself. . . ^^ Yes we are full of medics in the family. My brother and uncle are also cops in the town I live in. We have all been bit by the public safety bug. Sorry about the thread high jack, back on topic, I just can't say enough how much I really like this shot. I have already made it my desktop photo, if that's ok with you Craig.
Here is another I got in October 2007 [This attachment has been purged. Older attachments are purged from time to time to conserve disk space. Please feel free to repost your image.]
