    Well...

My D300's seals got a test. I hope they work. My son had a Cub Scout day adventure camp thing at Lake Bastrop yesterday.

Before we could even check-in he fell and got a bleeding forehead lac (after not listening to me to not run), and bled all over his folding chair bag. But he recovered enough to continue. First rotation, I fell flat on my back down a wood staircase on the side of a hill, camera on my neck. But my son's gold panning plate flew up so it got spattered with a little bit of mud. Fortunately I did have a towel that I was using as a camera-cushion for the backpack to clean it up.

Next rotation he fell again while trying to walk and put on a life jacket (after not listening to me to stop), so that was the end of the day - I was hoping for some ducks and vultures - but I did see an apparently unique vulture on the way home but I was driving too fast to stop. So I think I got about 10 pics or so. Haven't even bothered to review them yet.
