Disney World Announces Special Events Jan 10, 2007 Associated Press - LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Themed children's parties and annual events showcasing flowers and sports are on the calendar at Walt Disney World for the first half of 2007. The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival will be held from April to June. It features flower beds, water gardens and seminars on gardening and crafts, a children's garden, a butterfly garden and nightly concerts. Sports fans can catch the Atlanta Braves in spring training at The Ballpark at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in February. Disney's Pirate and Princess Party takes place in the Magic Kingdom on 13 evenings between Jan. 22 and March 8 and includes fireworks, a parade and a treasure hunt. Also this year, as part of Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" celebration, guests will be randomly chosen while visiting the park to spend the night in Cinderella's Castle.
