Dude, you know that Disney podcasters aren't allowed a vacation or a day off on 7/17 of every year.

Taking a break on that day is like...[glow=red,2,300]sacrilege [/glow]

On July 17, 1955, an amazing man named Walt Disney stood in the middle of a former orange grove that only had dirt pathways, in front of three* people, and said this:

“To all who come to this happy place: Welcome. Disneyland is your land. Here, age relives fond memories of the past, and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future. Disneyland is dedicated to the ideals, the dreams, and the hard facts that have created America, with the hope that it will be a source of joy and inspiration to all the world.â€

It was a really good show. Especially with the scousers to provide a little international flair (to those that didn't listen, they talked to some people from the UK and learned that you call a person from Liverpool either a Liverpudlian, or as a nickname, a scouser, a name derived from a local stew called scouse).

I wish the webcam had been able to handle the lower light levels, I wanted to see more of what was going on, but still.. it was kind of a way to live vicariously through other people. If I can't be at Disney World, at least I can listen to people who are.
