We went to MGM for Star Wars weekends. We went on a Friday to avoid the weekend crowd. It was very crowded. It is amazing how many Star Wars fans were there. Many guests were dressed in Star Wars costumes. Han Solo, Princess Leigh, and various jedi outfits were the most popular. The picture of Vader and the stormtrooper was taken during the show "Jedi Academy" where they pull little kids out of the audience and let them fight Vader and Darth Maul. That is a very entertaining show. All of the performers were very animated and had lots of attitude abd movement. They were all performing at a very high level. The picture of Jango Fett is one of my favorites from that day. For some reason I find it hilarious that he is out signing autograph books. He was also very funny to watch. He was walking down the street going from one side to the other over and over. The crowd just followed like sheep. It was funny. I don't know why he was doing it, but it was a funny thing to witness. thanks, I took that when we got our picture taken with him. he was great. its neat what good characters can convey without saying a word. Vader was making people bow down to him, and doing other funny things. Dina asked him if she could press the buttons on his chest and he started to really motion to her. it was fun, the photopass guy even grabbed a couple of last second shots while we were goofing around with him. I love Star Wars weekend. I can't wait to go back with a 'real' camera. There's just so much to snap ! I'm heading back at the end of June (6/28) next year ... so we can do 2 trips in 1 annual pass (ie, return the following year on 6/18). I'm praying they extend the weekends next year, so we can catch the Weekends both times.
