Ok, I absolutely love the sugar cookies that they give out at MVMCP. ; I lost count how many I ate after 4. ; They would be a good Christmas cookie to make. NorthernMouse, I know you have a ton of Disney recipes, do any of your cookbooks have a recipe for sugar cookies? ;

That sounds like it might be it. ; I will have to try those this weekend. ; Thanks, I knew you would have a recipe
Sugar cookies are a hit!! ; I will certainly be making them more than enough before Christmas. ; If anyone does try the recipe though, when I added all the flour, the cookie dough got a little crumbly (but that could be because it is Alberta). ; Anyways, the batter worked best when I added about a 1/4 cup more of softened butter. ; Next time I make them, I will add the flour slowly to make sure the dough doesn't get dry. ; I also rolled them in red and green sugar, just like we had at the MVMCP. ; Thanks for the recipe NorthernMouse! ; Sean thanks you too.
I have to make some cookies for a bake sale on Tuesday so over the weekend we will try to catch this recipe in action for you.
northernmouse - any chance you have a recipe for pumpkin muffins? When we were at Grand Flo for our honeymoon, they had pumpkin muffins at the buffet every morning for breaky and they were delicious - I would love to make them.
I can't seem to find the pumpkin muffin recipe from the grand flo. I'll probably have better luck in the fall. Here is one from Disneyland that might work for you. Pumpkin Muffins 2 cups canned pumpkin puree 1 1/2 cups white sugar 3 large eggs 3/4 cup canola oil 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup all-purpose flour 3/4 tsp salt 1 1/2 tsp baking powder 3/4 tsp baking soda 3/4 tsp cinnamon 3/4 tsp ground cloves 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 cup raisins 1) In a large mixing bowl mix together pumpkin, sugar, eggs, oil and vanilla until well blended. 2) Sift together the rest of the dry ingredients over the pumpkin mixture and whisk until just combined don't overmix. 3) Gently fold in the raisins. 4) Portion mixture into muffin pans and bake in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F for about 25 minutes. 5) Insert a toothpick into center of muffin and remove. If toothpick is clean, the muffins are ready.
sounds delicious (minus the raisins) I will give it a try! They actually had the sme muffins at Crystal palace when we had breakfast there - I was ecstatic
