Got out of bed early this morning to visit my local "castle", the Crouse College at Syracuse University. ; Used the Tokina 11-16mm Ultra Wide Angle lens and took some HDR sets which I processed in Photomatix and cleaned up in Aperture 3. Taken at 6:51AM 20 minutes later the clouds rolled in. Remembering Justin's UWA tip, I tried to get as close as I could to this table setting on Marshall ("M") Street. ;
Here's a look at the Six Curved Walls which the current Syracuse University chancellor had done to show a new openness between SU and the City of Syracuse. There are 6 12-foot high curved walls which wrap around each other with space between them so you can walk through them. ; I guess that's where the message lies. 5 stop HDR (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2) processed with Photomatix 3.0 Plugin for Aperture 3.
Follow the link to this photo's flickr page. ; I am still a bit confused by it but am starting to she what the chancellor was going for. ; I want to return here and see if I can photograph it with that in mind. Six Curved Walls by Scottwdw, on Flickr
Nice shots Scott! ; I actually like the second with the clouds in the original post the best. ; It has a kind of foreboding feel to it, as I think most castle shots should.
You mean all except Disney castles, right? ; ; Hey, you still in Central NJ or have your relocated to Orlando?
Great shots! ; I like the second one on the first too. I like your photo of the wall a lot, just unsure of the wall itself Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
